Team Nurse: Baby Shower for Maddox & Me, Prego Pics & Family Fun

This weekend was such a special weekend. Mom and Dad Nurse were in town from St. Louis along with Gregs brother Travis and his wife Anna as well as Gregs Aunt Miriam. We had such a great time seeing them and spending the weekend together. The weekend was full of fun memories so I thought I would share a few of them.

On Saturday before the shower Darlene Cozby who is not only a talented and phenomenal photographer but also a special friend came to my house to take some pregnant pictures of me and then some of Greg & I. Darlene is KKs (one of my most special friends and my roommate for 5 years) Mom and we have shared some special memories together but this one was quite unique. I was never one who wanted to have pictures of myself taken while I was pregnant but Darlene and KK encouraged me to and reminded me that these special moments in life can be captured with photos that we can keep for a lifetime! Darlene was amazing. She totally got me out of my comfort zone, made me feel comfortable and the final products were far more beautiful then I could have imagined. If you have a need for a photographer I would recommend you give her a shot. Greg & I will cherish these pictures and the fun we had taking them forever. Then the real fun began with a special shower that my older sister and best friends threw for me and Baby Maddox. It was such a fun afternoon and having all of my favorite women together for the afternoon was priceless. We got all of the things we wanted from our registry and then some!
