We had such a fun weekend! The Train on Saturday was a blast and then we had a dinner party with the Lewis Family an the Easterlys on Saturday night. It was such a family fun night! Greg went to Dallas on Sunday and so Maddox and I had a fun and relaxing day together at home. Mary came by Sunday evening for a bit and now Greg and I are watching the game hoping for a cowboy win while our little man sleeps soundly. I love my life!

4 Months of WONDERFUL!
Maddox made the four month mark on Monday November 2nd. It was such a happy day...again another happy day that was filled with shots, mommy why are you doing this to me and most importantly news from our sweet and amazing Dr. Murphy that our baby boy was healthy and doing great. He weighed in at 15lbs. 2ounces and his vertical (or length rather) was 25 inches! Both in the 55th percentile...so right in the middle I guess. He did great at his appointment this week and they really got to see his fun personality. There are amazing changes everyday that make Greg and I so proud and even more surprised. I love that he is so independent...I hate that he does not want to sleep in my arms that often anymore. I love that he is grabbing things and noticing whats in front of him....I hate that I can not wear long earrings or necklaces. I love that he actually lets other people hold and play with him as he smiles back at them...I hate that I'm not the ONLY one who can do that anymore. There are so many changes and so many things that make you say uhhh but the precious moments overshadow any frustrating moment. There have been times during the past four months where I didn't know if I could handle it and then I looked at my little man and realized I have a WONDERFUL life. I love every minute of it. As chaotic as it is my life has never seemed more right and more perfect. Maddox smiles. Maddox makes lots of noise. Maddox SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT...life changing! Maddox eats as much formula during each feeding that we can fit into a bottle. Maddox sucks his thumb. Maddox goes to the Weekday School at UCC for three hours a week! Maddox loves going to spend the afternoons with his cousins! Maddox loves his stuffed animal named POP! Maddox needs his fingernails cut really often...Thank Goodness for Aunt Nat! Maddox brings more joy to my life than I knew possible. Maddox makes me see Greg smile in a way I have never saw before. Maddox makes me schedule ever minute of my day....every minute of each day that I spend with him are the most precious moments of my life! Maddox loves his bed...I love watching the innocence of him sleeping. I love showing him things...I love watching him find his feet by himself. I love being a mother more and more everyday! Thank you baby boy for making the last four months of my life so fun and fulfilled. I love all four months of you! My little boy has started to learn how to hold his bottle.
He only does it for about 30 seconds at a time but he is learning!
My Two favorite Boys!
Dr. Murphy encouraged us to start giving Maddox a little bit of cereal to try and get him to learn how to eat with a spoon. It is quite the learning experience for sure.

As you can see more gets on him than actually in his mouth...but were learning!
Maddox loves to watch his Faith Baby video from Nani!

Happy Halloween!
We spent all Halloween day with out little pumpkin before taking him to my Mom and Dads where he had a sleep over. Greg & I went to a costume party at Kris and Dwaines.
It was a famous couples theme and we went as Rob & Big from MTV. That is the only MTV show we watch and it is so funny. I cant look at my moustache without laughing.

Happy Halloween!
Maddox is a little young for Trick-or-treating so this year we opted for just taking him to the Fall Festival out at my sisters church. It was last night and it was so fun! Maddox was a football for Halloween this year. He was the smiliest little football you ever have seen. Those big brown eyes and yummy cheeks made the little costume precious! Our girlfriend Laura who is like a sister joined in with Natalie and I on the football theme and they were a bunch to be reckoned with. SO cute. We were able to get a few group pics of all the kids together. I hope everyone who is going out on Saturday has a very safe and fun Halloween!
Garrett (Laura's son) was Tony Romo...he even had a quarterback rag in his back pocket to complete his costume. Sitting by him on the hay is Madeleine (Natalie's oldest girl)who was a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. She is holding sweet Maddox (we didn't let Tony Romo hold him for fear he may fumble him). Bottom row from Left is Natalie's twins Emma & Lizzie and then on the right is Laura's daughter Katherine. What a team!

Daddy is his biggest fan (other than me of course)
I'm looking forward to looking at you and giggling with you in all your
many costumes to come.
You are the true joy of my life!

15 Weeks
These are just a few of my new favorite Maddox pics. He is really talking a lot and making lots of noise. He now sits in his bouncer that hangs from the door way and plays in his exersaucer. He loves to be on his feet. We also hit a big milestone in the past week. He is now taking 8 ounces of formula at a time and for the past 5 nights (were not counting or anything;)) he has slept through the night. I'm still not sleeping through the night but my sweet boy is sleeping 7 to 7! I know he cant understand it but I tell him everyday how proud I am of him.
Hanging out in his bouncing Exersaucer I love that he is finally getting some meat on those thighs.
Loving His Pa
Grammy, Papa & a Joe T's Fiesta
My Grammy & Papa came into town to meet Maddox for the first time and to celebrate Moms birthday. It is so special to me that both sets of my grandparents have been able to meet my sweet boy. I will cherish my pictures of them with him forever. We had a fun Joe T's night celebrating moms b-day!

Maddox's 1st Dinner Date
We had a fun family night with the McWhirters & Bensons last week. It was such a fun night! Maddox loved hanging out with his friend Rowan and it was our first family dinner party with friends! Rowan was such a great little hostess for Maddox and he loved playing with her toys and hanging out in her chair! I was glad to get Greg together with Grant & Charlie. He really enjoyed it and is looking forward to hanging out again. I of course loved my time with Brooke and was so happy to catch up with Lindsey who I have not seen in ten years...weird. Lindsey is a mommy to be in more ways than one and we are so excited for her and Charlie. Lindsey brought Rowan and Maddox the sweetest little dinner place setting for their dinner party. Thanks Lindsey I cant wait for Maddox to use it! We are looking forward to many more dinner parties to come!
Handsome Man
Maddox had his first big dress up event last Saturday and he was the most handsome man there! My mom just because a director with Mary Kay again...Woo Whoo Mama! So on Saturday we got to go to her big debut! I was so proud of Maddox. He behaved so well and again was quite simply precious!
her Mary Kay Business and she got Maddox a praise and worship DVD called Baby Praise. We put it on for him when we got home and as you can see in the above picture he loved it!

Boys Weekend & Missing Momma
I was away this weekend for my friend Lindsey's Bachelorette party. I will say there is nothing easy about leaving your baby for the first time. I was so sad on Friday when I had to say goodbye. I knew he was in good hands at home with his Daddy all weekend but the bottom line is there is nowhere I would rather be than with my little guy. Don't get me wrong it was a great weekend and I needed to get away and learn that Yes he can survive without me but it was still hard. Lucky for me I have an amazing husband who loves his little man as much as I do. Greg played with Maddox all weekend and they had a great time! I do hope in a small and selfish way that he missed me just a little bit! Greg was so sweet to send me pictures of Maddox every hour or so. I must have received over 30 pictures while I was away...some of him sleeping, some of him waking up, some of him eating, some of him playing. Each picture made my day! I also think that Greg was reassuring me that he had things under control! I never doubted ya babe! Below are some of my favorites that I got while I was gone. Our little guy is growing and growing and growing!

Its been a Great Day!
Today Maddox has officially reached the double digit mark. He is 10 weeks old today. It is hard for us to believe that so much time has passed. He is doing just great. Last night he even slept for a 7 hour stretch! It was glorious! Maddox started Mothers day out last week for one day a week for three hours. We were blessed enough to get into UCCs Weekday School and so we jumped on the opportunity. This will assure him a spot in the coming years to attend a wonderful school as I go back to work. Last week was harder on me than it was on him to leave him. He did great and even got to take a ride in the bye bye buggy. It seats six little ones and they take them outside for a little ride each morning. It is the cutest site to see. Maddox has two teachers and one of them is my grandmothers age. She is so loving and sweet with the little ones. She takes a ton of pictures everyday and today she gave us a pic of them on there ride last week. I will brag on my son for one quick second and say that they told me he was the only one who didn't cry while they were on it. That's our little man...always up for a new adventure! On meet the teacher day I was so pleasantly surprised to see an old friend holding her sweet baby girl in our classroom. Brooke is from Ft. Worth and also went to Tech. We ran into each other when we were both pregnant but had not seen each other since we had our little ones. It was such a treat to see that her little girl Rowan would be in the same class as Maddox. We went for coffee today after we dropped them off at school and it was the highlight of my week. I don't have many friend in Ft. Worth who have kids so it was nice to sit and chat with another mom. WE did do a lot of talking about our kids but also just caught up with each other. I am really looking forward to more chats, play dates and fun to come with Brooke and Rowan. As today is wrapping up and my sweet little man is fast asleep I am unwinding with a smile on my face. Today is a great day...We have a healthy and happy 10 week old amazing baby, I got to spend some time with an old friend, Greg got some great news at work today and life is just wonderful.
So...here is the pic of the Bye-Bye Buggy. Maddox is in the back and Rowan is right in front of him!

Its Fun For Friends to meet your Kiddo!
I had a suprise run in with a friend from Ft. Worth who I also went to College with at Tech on Friday night at Glorias in Dallas. It was great to see Meagan and spend a few minutes catching up. The most fun was introducing her to Maddox. It made me realize how proud I am to show him off and I cant wait for more of my friends to meet him.
